On Saturday, May 5 I was able to go with a group full of mutiple sopranos, altos (me), and baritones from around the state of New Hampshire from different schools. We had been practicing the music before we got together and we spent a whole day on Saturday working on the music and songs. At the end of the day we had a concert for our parents. I was able to go with a couple other singers from my school. The Southwest District Music Festival was for band and chorus so at the end there were two concerts. It was great and I was able to meet a lot of people and make new friends. I was also able to improve my singing. I had a great time!
